Frequently Asked Questions

What to expect?

During a massage appointment, the therapist will discuss your massage goals with you. The massage room is set up with soft music and gentle lighting for a relaxing experience. The massage table is equipped with a cozy blanket and a warming feature. It is essential to communicate openly with your therapist throughout the session to make sure you receive a personalized and comfortable massage tailored to your needs.

What to wear?

If you are getting a massage you will be draped with a sheet and blanket so that you are covered and we will only undrape the area of the body that is being worked on. With that being said it may be difficult to do certain massage techniques over clothing so we encourage dress down to your comfort level. If doing a stretch session wearing athletic attire would be suitable.

What products do you use?

We use a various massage oils based on the goal of each session. If you have an allergy, please let me know. For those with sensitivities, I carry 100% jojoba oil as well as Grapeseed Oil you are welcome to bring your own.

Tips to benefit most from your massage.

  1. It is important to inform the therapist about any joint damage, existing injuries, skin rashes, cuts, or bruises to ensure they provide appropriate care during the massage session.
  2. It is important to communicate any pain or discomfort to the therapist during the massage session, as mild discomfort can be expected when the therapist is targeting sore areas
  3. Consuming an ample amount of water following a massage can aid in decreasing inflammation and alleviating discomfort.
  4. Scheduling and maintaining consistent massage sessions.
  5. It is important to provide adequate rest periods for the muscles to recover between appointments.
  6. Engage in physical activity and stretching routines in between scheduled appointments to promote flexibility in muscles and joints.
  7. Have your workout before your massage, rather than after. Getting a massage after exercising can aid in recovery, as your muscles are already relaxed and prepared for the massage. Conversely, working out after a massage may increase the risk of injury due to the extreme relaxation of your muscles.
  8. Inform the therapist about any allergies you may have to oils or lotions before the session begins. This will help ensure a safe and comfortable experience during the treatment.
  9. It’s a good idea to remove all jewelry before the massage or stretch session, such as earrings, necklaces, rings, and watches, to allow the therapist unrestricted access to your muscles. Consider leaving them at home for convenience.
  10. To fully enjoy the benefits of a massage, it is suggested to refrain from eating within an hour before the appointment.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Any sexual remarks or advances are not tolerated and will result in termination of service. Full price of service will be charged to the card on file.
